I'm Argentinean, my natural language is Spanish. I’ve been studying social networks in the line of Humberto Maturana, Marck Grannoveter, Swart Kauffmann , Duncan Watts and Albert Lazlo Barabási. My referents in Spanish language are Juan Urrutia Elejalde, Alejandro Piscitelli and many others like Fernando Vega Redondo who writes in English about dynamic networks y a complexity environment. Time is also important.
I’ve been development these ideas in my blog
http://carlosboyle.blogspot.com and I also wrote a book
De revolutionibus orbium argentum under a Creative Commons license, that you can consult on the Internet. It's about republicanism, the Spanish brunch, and society based on the third and forgotten shield of the French Revolution “La Fraternite”, a kind of P2P concept in the politics of those days.
As you can see politics is my other love. I consider that social networks can truly change the life for many people and we are on that road.
