Profile Information

About Me:
I'm the co-founder and C.T.O. of www.ubicast.eu, a startup focused on assisted and autonomous video filming and broadcasting systems that we call GeoBroadcasting appliances. These will hopefully let any place regularly broadcast their events on the Internet.

Our technology is based on Open Source components, and our video infrastructure is designed to be distributed.

Not that much p2p, yet takes place in the Global Village / local to global problematic, and bypasses most of the traditionnal client-videoprovider-streamingprovider-enduser scheme by incorporating the filming technology directly into the places themselves.

I also have interests in P2P technology, cloud computing, green personal computing and P2P-inspired city models.
How did you come across this network?
I occasionally happen to read the mailing list and put things in the wiki.
