- Michel Bauwens was kind enough to invite me, after receiving an e-mail I had sent. An excerpt from my message:
"I just had to let you know how I recently stumbled upon your amazing blog. After seeing Frank Theys' documentary 'Technocalyps' in class your name popped up on the internet as a collaborator on the project. Mindblowing film, I have to say, speaking for several of my classmates as well.
Your blog is an unbelievable inspiration for what I am researching at the moment: performance art in the public space, speaking in the broadest sense of both those terms. Artists ranging from Allan Kaprow to Marina Abramovic up to Stelarc and the Yes Men, just to name a few.
I like to call myself a 'documentary performance artist' in my own practise,
attempting to combine what I believe to be two of the most profound and daring forms of expression: documentary (film especially, but also photography, prose and lots of other media) and live performance."
