Psychologist, theory oriented (my PhD thesis bears upon the mimetic construction of self & reality). Following Girard, I see imitation everywhere (because it is simply defined as the partial or total reproduction of the behavior or the mental act or attitude of another. From this perspective, P2P processes are analogs of the crowd phenomena of the past.
