I agree that we must look for opportunities to do the seemingly impossible, to construct out of a changing system one that is much more in tune with the needs of people.
I came to the basic income guarantee idea via Silvio Gesell, monetary reformer in Germany about a century ago, and am a keen observer of the alt money movement. We aren't there yet, but many good people are working, figuring out how our economy should be arranged.
