I am a young social entrepreneur, digital artist, complimentary currency aficionado, and Jedi earth-steward!
Through my involvement in the Metacurrency Project, I am developing a currency game as a tool for the mind-mapping and self-organization of social innovation.
I am planning a trip to Europe for the summer of 2010. I'll be touring with a group of young leaders, learning about social innovation and sharing what we find through video, blog, and live peer mentoring events along the way. We're crowd-funding the whole trip!
In the long term, I'm interested in creating physical spaces to incubate and support social innovators. Part of my learning journey to Europe will be visiting incubators in The Hub network and bringing this insight back to efforts in Seattle.
I'm particularly keen on the idea of a social innovation monastery, where young innovators, entrepreneurs and creatives would live and work together, learning how to get their projects off the ground with the support of each other and a group of experienced mentors.
How did you come across this network?
I've been following the P2P foundation for some time, and decided to join in a deeper way.
