Thank you Peadar for the friend request.  It finally reminded me of Cascadia Commons' membership to the P2P Foundation Ning Page.  It's good to get the account refreshed.  I added our new vision and mission statement to our profile, which more clearly represents our latest work.  

I find your comment interesting that in the U.S. we have more opportunities to implement P2P programs than in Europe.  I tend to disagree.  We have just as many challenges as anyone else.  The main difference may be that we have a larger community dedicated to the change.  I for one am involved on a business/policy level because I believe if we do not change society toward operating on a more peer-to-peer basis, grave social and environmental challenges with mount.  I have a "change now" mentality, so I am very dedicated. 

But, I am curious to know more about you Peadar.  What's your involvement in the P2P movement up to this point?
