DON'T TOUCH THE INTERNET
CITIZENS EUROPE WIDE START SIMULTANIOUSLY A MASSIVE REACTION TO PROTECT THEIR RIGHTS
In these weeks the Internet privatization can be decided. On May 5 the European parliament votes a package of measures that will influence the legislations of all the countries.
To protect the interests of the multinationals of communication and entertainment, the European parliament might give out our rights of access to an opened Net.
Tonight a civil campaign is launched simultaneously from organizations of the whole European Community to prevent the Internet privatization and to defend the democratic right from the access to the information and to digital tools.
This campaign includes:
1 - An informative website explaining what is the so called " Telecommunications Package " that will be voted, why is so dangerous for the future of the citizens and of their daily economy and all the initiatives that the civil European society is taking on this matter:

2 - A letter to the members of parliament that it is being sent by hundreds of organizations and citizens (one of the europarlamentario speaks about the receipt of approximately 200 per day):

3 - An automatic system in order that any citizen could send the letter directly to all the euromembers of parliament:

4 - a system to monitor their vote in the matter:

TAKES PART
" Granny, help them that they do not know what they are doing. " On the occasion of the vote in the European parliament of the Telecom package on May 5, a video - contest has launched on YouTube to make clear to the members of the euro parliament that they need our vote in June and that Internet still provides us the tools to watch and judge what they do. And this is the way it has to continue being.
Find out:
Do not allow that the Parliament of the U.E. privatize Internet! It won't be turning back! Act now! Tomorrow it will be late!
WE CAN PUT PRESSION ON THEM - WE HAVE GIVEN THEM OUR VOTE - we return to reelect them in June. REMEMBER IT TO THE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT ! "
