I am trained both as a philosopher and a biologist and I wrote a thesis on the implications of the biotechnology and life sciences revolution for the human condition (in Dutch, entitled: Gedreven door techniek. De menselijke conditie en de biotechnologische revolutie, 2008). My main current interests are philosophy of technology (especially continental), theories on techno-evolution, the politics of technology and 'leftist' political thought in general. My current research project for the Dutch Centre for Society and Genomics - conducted at the University of Wageningen in het Netherlands - is about the promise of open source and peer-to-peer principles in genomics and biotechnology.

I look forward to your interview. I'm guessing you are familiar with our science pages at http://p2pfoundation.net/Category:Science
Would it be possible to check them out and suggest improvements?
Your own insights would be very welcome, including in our regular blog.
This topic is indeed also interesting to us: the promise of open source and peer-to-peer principles in genomics and biotechnology
