Чисто из практических побуждений пришла в голову идея сотрудничества людей, имеющих доступ к библиотекам в разных странах для упрощения обмена информации и научного материала для научных целей.

Суть в бесплатности услуг. Идея из серии таких сообществ как Couchsurfing.org, Hospitalityclub.org, bookcrossing...

Смысл идеи не столько обеспечить себе взаимную помощь от того самого лица, как сделать мир ближе. Освоить его.
