Michel,
I visted Mariapolis in Sao Paulo maybe 15 years ago. It is a Focolare movement communion inspired by Chiara Lubich. I guess it still exists. At that time the Economy of Communion just had started. Good to hear your accounts of the present situation. Chiara Lubich was/is (I have to update myself) in what was called World Conference on Religion and Peace (WCRP), now 'Religions for Peace'. This is an interreligious platform in which the Buddhist counterpart of the Focolare movement namely Rissho Kosei Kai (Japan) plays a prominent role.
December 5-7 a conference on 'Buddhist Economics' will be organized in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.
